Our studio

The practice was founded in 2007 by architects Lila Katsiveli and Kyriakos Michalopoulos, focusing on private architectural projects. Its core expertise lies in the design and supervision of residential and commercial spaces. Over time, the team has expanded with collaborators from various disciplines.

At LKMK ARCHITECTS, architectural design takes on character and personality, making it both perceptible and functional for the end-user. With a strong emphasis on functionality, optimal space utilization, and cost efficiency, our precise design process ensures a high standard of construction. Every detail in our blueprints is thoroughly analyzed for feasibility, leading to a series of original, precision-engineered construction solutions.

Kyriakos Michalopoulos

Principal Architect

Kyriakos Michalopoulos was born in 1979 in Athens and attended the Architectural School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he graduated in 2003. Until 2006, he collaborated with construction companies in the field of design and construction supervision. In 2005 he attended the Postgraduate Program "Techno-Economics Systems" (MBA). In 2006 he co-founded the architectural office "LKMK ARCHITECTS" with architect Lila Katsiveli. Since then, he has undertaken private projects, both in terms of architectural and interior design, as well as construction supervision, with emphasis on functionality and constructional excellence. The projects of the practice include mainly residences but also office buildings, commercial spaces and others, while their concepts emphasize on a human-centered aspect. His works have been published both in national and international architectural press, while in 2018 the “Residence in Kamatero” project was distinguished in the 9th Biennale of Young Greek Architects

Our process includes space planning, color schemes, material selection, furniture and lighting design, all tailored to suit the unique requirements of each project. Whether designing for residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces, we create interiors that elevate the user experience and harmonize with the architecture.

We follow an organized and hands-on approach to project management, ensuring that every stage, from the initial design to final implementation, is executed with precision and consistency. We oversee and coordinate all construction processes, ensuring smooth collaboration between suppliers and contractors. With a focus on detail and optimal resource management, we monitor timelines, budgets, and construction quality, while maintaining the integrity of the original design vision.

Senior Architect

We are looking for a Senior Architect with at least 6+ years professional experience in architectural design, construction details and on site supervision, for a full-time, permanent position in our office.

Required qualifications:

– Degree in Architecture

– 6+ years professional experience

– Experience in all stages of Design & Construction

– Excellent knowledge of Greek Building Regulations (NOK) and perimit issue

– Excellent knowledge of CAD-related 2-D software, Sketchup 3-D modeling

– MS Office, Adobe Suite
